About Aalaap Music Academy

Aalaap Music Academy, Varanasi, is led by Dr. Anurag Mishra — a PhD in Music from Banaras Hindu University and a nationally awarded flautist. With years of experience teaching at BHU's Faculty of Performing Arts, Dr. Mishra brings both academic depth and practical artistry to every class.

Courses We Offer

At Aalaap, we offer training in a wide range of instruments and vocal styles. Our courses include Vocal, Guitar, Piano, Harmonium, Bansuri (Flute), Violin, and Ukulele. We also have specially designed batches for Children and Ladies. For students outside Varanasi, Online Classes are available as well.

How Classes Work

Every class at Aalaap begins with a short meditation session to help students focus and calm their minds. This is followed by structured lessons covering technique, theory, and practice. Students also get opportunities for stage performances, monthly progress reports, and certificate-based level exams.

Exam Guidance

Aalaap students receive special guidance for the BHU CUET Music entrance exam as well as Prayag Sangeet Samiti examinations — two of the most respected music evaluation systems in India.
